Qyomto is the third Melthodhaye Musical project that has been created. It does not only symbolize Christ resurrection, but also His healing, power and truth.

The Qyomto (Easter) CD contains dozens of well-known traditional melodies using the traditional Easter liturgical texts, which have been collected from various ancient Syriac manuscripts. All hymns are sung according to the Syriac eight-mode system and each musical track is composed of varoius hymn types and genres which correspond to one of the eight modes.

The aim is that this piece of work will help us all to resurrect with Christ.
